Sound familiar?

Feedback arriving as a Word doc of timestamps
Comments pinned to the exact frame
Clients click a private link and comment on the frame itself. No accounts, no training, works from a phone on set. You stop translating "the bit around two minutes in".
Round six of "one last tweak"
Revision budgets on every video
Each video carries its included revision rounds. When a request goes beyond them, the overage is visible to both sides before you commit to it. Scope creep becomes a conversation, not a surprise.
Finals delivered, invoice ignored
Payment-gated delivery
The download gate opens when payment lands. Deposits, pay-by-card links on invoices and Xero sync mean the money side runs itself.
Review in one app, quotes in another, files in a third
One project record end to end
The quote, the shoot dates, every cut, every approval and the invoice live on one project. Your client sees one branded portal for all of it.

Built around your workflow.

Frame-accurate review player
Timecoded comments, side-by-side version compare, one-click approvals, and auto transcripts with caption downloads.
Approvals that hold up
Every approval is timestamped against a specific version, so "we never approved that cut" stops being a conversation.
Quotes to cash
Multi-option quotes approved in the portal, deposits via Stripe, invoices that push to Xero on send with GST handled.
Hybrid photo and video projects
A content day with stills and a hero film lives in one project: gallery for the photos, review links for the cuts, one invoice.

This is a game changer. All in one platform for Photo and Video creatives, even production agencies! You’ve gotta give this a try!

The wedding brief alone sold me. Couples fill in their run sheet and family shot list themselves, and shoot day just runs.

Questions commercial videographers ask.

How does the video review workflow work?

You upload cuts to a review link, the client comments at the exact timecode, and you can compare versions side by side. Approvals are one click and every round is tracked against the project.

Do clients need an account to review and approve cuts?

No. Review links are private URLs. Clients watch, comment and approve straight from the link on any device, including on set from a phone.

What stops endless revision rounds?

Each video carries a revision budget. When a client requests changes beyond the included rounds, the overage is visible to both sides before you commit to it.

Where is my footage and client data hosted?

In Australia. OneCast Studio runs in Sydney (AWS ap-southeast-2) and we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

How does OneCast compare to Frame.io?

Frame.io is deeper for high-end post workflows (NLE marker sync, camera-to-cloud). OneCast covers the review workflow most client work needs and adds everything Frame.io does not have: quotes, invoices, galleries, bookings and payments. There is a full honest comparison at onecast.studio/compare/frameio.

What video formats and sizes can I upload?

Standard delivery formats like MP4 and MOV work out of the box, with large-file uploads handled in the browser and posters generated automatically. Plan storage is 500GB on Starter and 2TB on Studio.
